K-Drama Bingo

K-Drama Bingo is a custom-developed site for reviews and ratings of Korean TV Dramas. It involves custom types for Bingo Cards, Bingo Card Sets, Dramas, and Reviewer ratings. Bingo card sets are established once, then used across all the Dramas for rating. The site permits user accounts with limited access to publish user reviews of their own.

Situationist International Archives

The Situationist International Archives is one of the oldest text archives on the Internet, originating in the early 1990s. Now modernized with a fully-responsive theme, elegant typography, and a wealth of free texts — from entire books to pamphlets, reviews, and newspaper articles. The site uses the custom Library module, which provides bespoke content structures for Books, Anthologies, Periodicals, and ad-hoc Collections of articles. Authors are cross-referenced and provided their own page for customization.

Shriver Hall Concert Series

The Shriver Hall Concert Series takes place on the campus of Johns Hopkins University, and provides the community with concerts featuring some of the finest classical musicians today. The series has been running for over two decades, and includes both paid and free concert series, with two-tiered pricing (regular and student). The site has complicated content types, with each concert represented by a collection of reusable data on performers, composers, musical pieces, movements with those pieces, and sometimes related pre-concert lecture information. The ecommerce functionality is fleshed out with discount codes, bundle offers, seating selection, and custom questionnaires at checkout.

Alternative Press Center

The Alternative Press Center is one of the oldest self-sustaining alternative media institutions in the United States. For half a century, the Alternative Press Index has been recognized as a leading guide to the alternative press in the United States and around the world. This site employs two custom modules for publication data structures, and uses a classification system with nearly 4000 distinct categories.

Sturgis Antiques

Sturgis Antiques transitioned from a storefront antiques shop to an online-only vendor during the pandemic, and we built an ecommerce site to leverage their existing use of PayPal for transactions. The site uses customized "collections" of various products, from books to medical ephemera, each of which uses its own hierarchy of categories for inventory. Extensive use of structured metadata, and a constantly updated sitemap contributes to the excellent SEO performance of this site.

The Catholic High School of Baltimore

The Catholic High School of Baltimore is an all-girls' high school founded in 1939. This site makes use of a wide variety of Manifesto modules, from an event calendar, donations through Stripe, a custom form builder, slideshows, staff directory, social media links, analytics, and a heavily customized series of page templates for flexible layouts. Custom security modules help prevent form submission abuse, custom fonts are loaded from TypeKit, and moved or deleted pages can be managed through the Redirection module. Integration with specialized third-party portals (Student email, sports teams) is easy and seamless.

Social Anarchism

The journal Social Anarchism was published in print from 1985—2015, and this site was developed to host the archives of the magazine, retaining the "issue" format as an organizing principle. The custom Magazine module in Manifesto offers custom content types for magazine articles, issues, and creates custom user groups for managing editors, contributors, donors, distributors, and subscribers. Subscriptions are integrated with PayPal, and may be offered with expiration by date, or by issue number. The OpenGraph module allows full control over metadata to improved SEO and search results, and the OtherPress module provides a simple blog-like interface for referring to interesting content on external websites.
